• Usage data: gigs you mark as “interested”, bands and venues you follow, gigs you post
• Photos: images you upload to your profile or gig listings
• Push notification subscriptions: browser push subscription data if you opt in
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information (collected automatically via server logs)

We use your data to:

• Provide and operate the LiveSeek service
• Show you gigs near your location
• Send you notifications about new gigs from bands and venues you follow (email and/or push, based on your preferences)
• Display your public profile (venue or band) to other users
• Detect and prevent duplicate or fraudulent gig listings
• Respond to reports and maintain community safety
• Display advertisements to non-premium users

• Neon (PostgreSQL) — database hosting
• Amazon Web Services (S3) — photo storage
• Google Maps — geocoding postcodes and displaying maps (your postcode is sent to Google to convert to coordinates)
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Vercel — website hosting
• Google AdSense — advertising (may set cookies for ad personalisation)

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

6. Cookies

7. Data retention

• Account data is retained while your account is active
• Gig listings are archived 48 hours after the event date and may be permanently deleted after 30 days
• Photos are deleted from storage when you remove them or delete your account
• Reports are retained for moderation purposes
